MRL Director of Operations.
I have responsibility for all non-technical project and financial management within the MRL. I also manage the collaborative activities with industrial and academic partners, publicity and research dissemination activities, and the Horizon Doctoral Training Centre.
The title of my PhD was “A comparative study of University Administrative Systems” involving a comparison of the student administrative systems in four English universities, particularly looking at the factors which influence the centralisation or decentralisation of these systems.

I was Treasurer and Local Arrangements Chair for UbiComp 2004 which was held in Nottingham and attracted 400 delegates.
