I'm the Administrative Assistant for the MRL, and deal with everything from finance administration and travel arrangements to equipment booking and buying!
I'm from New Basford, Nottingham, but did my degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. I did my BA (Hons) degree in South Asian Studies and Study of Religions. I learned to read, write and speak Hindi as part of the course.
I won the Institute of Jainology 2005 prize for the best Undergraduate Dissertation essay on, 'Explore the Status of Women in Jainism with Particular Reference to the Contrasting Codes of Conduct for Jain Nuns and Laywomen'.
