I am currently working for the LSRI on the Personal Inquiry (PI) project where I am the technical development researcher. The PI project aims to help school students learn the skills of modern science. The three year project, funded by the UK ESRC and EPSRC research councils, is developing a new approach of 'scripted inquiry learning', where children aged 11-14 investigate a science topic with classmates by carrying out explorations between their classroom, homes and discovery centres, guided by a personal computer.

Previously, I worked for the Mixed Reality Lab (MRL)where my main research interest was in exploratory visualizations for mobile experiences such as pervasive games. During my time at the MRL I worked on a visualization system for Hitchers and an authoring interface for Day of the Figurines.
